About
Hi! I'm Louie, and this is FastForwardd. (Cue music) FF is your everyday ordinary "online playground."
It's where some projects of mine will be displayed and developed over time. I'm not a professional graphic designer (not yet anyways), but I'm
working towards that goal actively each and every day. I hope you'll enjoy what I have to show here, and thanks for stopping by.

See, there's an interesting thing about design for me. It's liberating, but at the same time it's this whole learning experience that evolves your entire sense of art and style. I started this project with one sign (the "Danger" one), but I loved the concept and later decided to expand upon it. There's now three parts to this project, a project I came to call "The Signs of Design."
I've been playing around with this shape for a while. It reminds me of lava lamps for some reason every time I see it. I tried to create movement in the piece, but it quickly became a project centered more around color than composition. I love the vibrance in this project if nothing else.
This design was actually an assignment for my 'Portfolio I' art class. The project was to create a personal logo then adapt it into a series of business cards. I've always loved the sophistication of a shirt and tie so I played off that and created this neat little logo. I'll probably clean it up later and actually have some of these business cards printed out.
This project was originally only the top red book w/ letters. It looked a little lonely though, so I later made two other books to stack it on top of. The idea was to take a common design in 2D and make it in 3D. We've all seen a drawing of a stack of books right? I wanted to take that concept and put a new spin on it. (If you noticed, I snuck my initials into the bottom right corner.)
I made this piece in a really really short period of time (A week, which is insane for a clay project.) I created it last minute for a local art show I completely forgot about. The piece didn't make it into the show, but now I have this cool seashell to add to my portfolio.
